Below is a sample recipe:

Tomato Mozza Skewers

Serving Size: 2 Dozen
Time to Make: 15 minutes

Ingredients:

3 on. mozzarella cheese, cut into 24 (½ inch) cubes
1 ½ teaspoons extra-virgin olive oil
1 teaspoon dried basil or 4 julienned basil leaves
Crushed red pepper flakes
Salt and freshly ground black pepper

24 grape tomatoes, cut in half crosswise

How to Prepare:

  1. Toss mozzarella with oil, basil, and a pinch of pepper flakes in a medium bowl.

  2. Season to taste with salt and pepper.

  3. Add tomatoes and stir gently to coat.

  4. Place 2 tomato halves and 1 mozzarella cube on each of 24 toothpicks

  5. Put cheese in between tomatoes.

  6. Serve at room temperature.
