Quick-n-Easy Nut Bread
Serving Size: 1 loaf
Time to Make: 90 Minutes
Ingredients:
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1/3 cup sugar substitute
1/3 cup canola oil
1 large egg, lightly beaten
1½ cups fat-free (skim) milk
1½ cups all-purpose flour
1 cup whole wheat flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon baking soda
1 cup walnuts, finely chopped
How to Prepare:

Preheat oven to 350° F.

Spray 9' by 5' metal loaf pan with nonstick cooking spray.

In medium bowl, stir together granulated sugar, sugar substitute, oil, and egg.

Stir in milk until blended.

Add all-purpose flour, whole wheat flour, baking powder, salt, and baking soda, and stir just until combined.

Fold in walnuts.

Spoon batter into prepared pan.

Bake 1 hour or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

Cool loaf in pan on wire rack 15 minutes; remove loaf from pan and cool completely on rack.

For easier slicing, refrigerate loaf before serving.
